Amenorrhea (Inability to Menstruate)
Normally, women enter a regular menstrual cycle, approximately once every 28 days, and menstruate for approximately 5-7 days. Disruption and irregularity of this cycle is called amenorrhea (lack of blood flow). There are two different main causes: primary (primary) and secondary (secondary). Pregnancy, menopause, breastfeeding, medications, stress, changes in the body, genetics and some metabolic conditions are the main causes.
