How Are Thyroid Cancers Treated?
Treatment method in thyroid cancers; It is a method of completely removing the thyroid gland by surgical operation. If the removed thyroid gland is less than 10 mm, hormone drugs are given. As a result of the surgical examinations of the patient, two methods can be applied: partial removal and complete removal of the thyroid gland. Both methods require follow-up of patients. Postoperative chemotherapy is usually not applied. Adopting a lifestyle to eliminate the causes is extremely important as it will reduce the risk and also positively affect the treatment when cancer is diagnosed.
